As newsrooms in Oregon shrink, so too does the corps of reporters covering state government. This article, part of my thesis project for Washington State University, examines how this affects democracy.

50 gifts under $50

This was my fourth annual gift guide featuring locally made items. I selected the products, shot the photos, wrote the product descriptions and promoted the guide on various social media platforms.

Tax reform talks

While covering the Legislature, I wrote an in-depth explanatory piece describing the proposed tax reforms lawmakers were considering. I also wrote a script for an explanatory video on the topic.
